Shut Up Already!

Don’t scream for acceptance while denying it to someone else!! I’m so over this persecution of Phil Robertson! The man gave an honest opinion about a subject he was directly asked. Of course they leave out the entire statement. They only want the juicy stuff to get everyone at odds, and split the country. I’m so sick and absolutely tired of groups like GLADD, and Mr. Jackson (who is NOT a Rev IMO, anyone can give themselves a title), who thinks it is ok to shove their way of life down my throat, while denying me and everyone else their constitutional rights of free speech and religion. Let me tell Mr. Jackson something. I was gay, I liked girls, never thought I would like a boy, but guess what, I did!! I married that boy, and have been happy since. I AM NOT OFFENDED! I have SEVERAL gay friends, and everyone of them agree with me it is a choice. They like both, but prefer the same sex. They believe in God, they know it’s a sin, but choose to live in it. I choose to build a life with my husband, and follow God, not my flesh. And I was blessed with an amazing man. Everything we do in life is a choice!! Cancer is not a choice, down syndrome, it’s not a choice, that is something we are BORN with. Who we have sex with, is a CHOICE! I wasn’t offended by Phil. No one I personally know who is gay was offended, so who gave GLADD the right to say they were? Mr. Jackson is a plague to the human race, just like GLADD, and all of the rest who want rights, yet fight to deny rights to others. Here’s my take on it. Sit down and shut up already!!! You want to fight for something, fight your government’s attempts to strip you of your liberties, many fought and DIED to gain. You want to fight for something? Fight your government when they send billions of dollars to other countries, when children go to bed hungry every night here in the US. Fight for something that is going to benefit someone other than yourself because quite frankly, I’m sick and tired of hearing about who you sleep with. I could care less. And that goes for everyone! Gay or straight. You may agree with me, you may not. And hey that is your right! A right groups like GLADD, and numerous others fight everyday to take away from you! May God be with you, wherever you sleep, and regardless of who is there with you. -Annie-
